I believe in love so strong...
But when you're gone..you're gone too long
I often wonder if I'm to blame
For everytime I play this waiting game
I try to call you when I can
Because you are that special kind of man
Whenever you wanted love from me
I gave myself, so faithfully
I am who I am because of you
No one else knows..,that is true
I welcome each day as a new surprise
When I see the look of love in your eyes
I love you more than words can ever say
So I send this poem written here today
I carry you with me throughout my life
I bear your sadness...calm your strife...
So when days of our lives all creep away
And sometimes, there's not much left to say
Remember me..when you're in pain
Until we're together once again

And we've shared the dreams that cloud our sleep
Just two souls mending the parts

This thread of love binds us together
